Extract data from PDF invoices
automatically

Upload any PDF invoice. AI extracts vendor, amounts, dates, and every line item into structured data you can use.

How it works

1

Upload your PDF

Drag and drop any PDF invoice — scanned or digitally created. Files up to 10MB are supported.

2

AI reads the structure

Gemini AI processes both native text PDFs and scanned image PDFs, extracting every field with full context.

3

Export as CSV or JSON

Download structured data ready for your accounting software, spreadsheet, or custom integration.

Native PDF support

No conversion step needed. Upload your PDF directly and get extracted data back.

Scanned PDFs too

Works with both digitally-created PDFs and scanned paper invoices saved as PDF.

Preserves structure

Line items with quantities, unit prices, and amounts — not just flat text extraction.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with scanned PDF invoices?

Yes. Invinchy handles both native text PDFs (created from software like Word or accounting tools) and scanned PDFs (paper invoices scanned to PDF). The AI processes the visual content regardless of how the PDF was generated.

Can it extract multi-page PDF invoices?

Currently, Invinchy extracts data from the first page of a PDF. Most invoices contain key header fields (vendor, totals, dates) on the first page. Multi-page line item extraction is on our roadmap. For image-based invoices, check out our Invoice OCR tool.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Password-protected or encrypted PDFs are not currently supported. You'll need to remove the password protection before uploading. Most PDF viewers let you print-to-PDF to create an unprotected copy.

What's the maximum PDF file size?

PDFs up to 10MB are supported. Most single-page invoices are well under 5MB. If your PDF is larger, it may contain high-resolution scans — try reducing the scan resolution or using a PDF compression tool first.

How is this different from just copying text from a PDF?

Copying text from a PDF gives you unstructured content — you still need to identify which text is the vendor, which is the date, and where line items start. Invinchy returns labeled, structured fields. You get 'vendor: Acme Corp' and 'total: $1,234.56' instead of a block of mixed text. For a CSV-optimized workflow, try our Invoice to CSV tool.

Is batch PDF processing available?

Batch processing is not available yet — Invinchy currently processes one document at a time. For multiple invoices, you can upload and export each one sequentially. We're exploring batch capabilities for a future release.

Files are deleted immediately after extraction. We never store your documents.
